Appendix 9.1: Recommendations for Abstracts and Presentations

CHAP Abstract Submissions and Presentations

When developing the materials for abstracts and presentations, Local Lead Organizations participating in CHAP are encouraged to work with the CHAP Prinicipal Investigators, Dr. Chambers, Dr. Kaczorowski or Dr. Dolovich. This will ensure that a standardized message is given to all audiences in addition to the specific experiences of the presenting organization.

Standardized information about CHAP for inclusion in abstracts and presentations can be obtained from materials developed for CHAP communities such as the CHAP Implementation Guide, www.chapprogram.com. Community-specific information should be included but it is recommended that the final piece incorporating basic and community-specific CHAP information be submitted to the CHAP Team for verification before the information is delivered to an audience.
